The records of Tent City Corporation's executive directors, board of directors, and executive and other committees include minutes, correspondence, design and other proposals, reports, occupancy agreements, budget and financing information, and newsletters. There are also reports from the Boston Redevelopment Authority and "model" urban renewal projects, some Tent City Task Force records, and some personal papers of Elizabeth Seifel (TCC's first executive director). The records document the evolution of the physical and philosophical design of the Tent City complex, including negotiations among developers, TCC, residents, and the city.
